Paso Real Health Center. Commitments To The Future And Health
In an act of commitment to the well-being of the most vulnerable communities, we continue to have the honor of installing a new water treatment plant in Paso Real, a town located in a remote area with limited access to quality drinking water.
In many remote villages, such as Paso Real, access to potable water remains a concern because the water sources available in these areas are often contaminated or insufficient to meet the daily needs of the population, putting the health of all residents at risk. People, especially children, are particularly vulnerable to diseases related to untreated water, such as cholera, diarrhea, and other infections.
With the arrival of the water purification equipment, it is expected that the inhabitants will be able to rely on clean and safe water on a continuous basis. Access to clean water is not only vital to prevent disease, but it is also essential to the overall well-being of the community. Commenting on this donation, Marco Antonio Galeana, Coordinator of the Water Committee, shared with us:
"We are very grateful for the support provided by the civil associations...” “I believe it will be of great help to the town, and we are very happy about it...".
Thanks to the support of the Castillo Family and organizations such as the Universidad Campesina del Sur (UNICAM), Guerrero es Primero, Banco de Alimentos de México, Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía, Centro Nacional de Apoyo para Contingencias Epidemiológicas y Desastres, Unidos Por Ellos, and Fundación Walmart México, we are able to continue supporting communities like Paso Real. You can support us too – Donate Now!
We acknowledge the outstanding work of Adriana Paz and Marco Antonio Jaramillo from UNICAM, whose continuous efforts in the field made this donation in the community possible.
