Emperador Cuauhtemoc Kindergarten. Resilience And Rebirth

It must be said that after the devastating passage of hurricane Otis, the school community found itself facing unsuspected challenges, which up to now and after so many months continue to appear, but fortunately they continue to receive all kinds of support and even the reconstruction of buildings continues.

In the midst of all this process, the Hentschel Family donated a water purifier. This is a crucial step towards recovery and reconstruction, since a new stage full of hope and opportunities is being marked in the daily lives of the local children, their families and the teaching staff.

The donation of this water purifier is a record of the commitment to support those who need it most, in addition, the children can immediately benefit and prevent diseases. The director of the kindergarten, Alma Delia Aldama, made the Water Saves Lives team feel that she was with them every step of the way, from the ease of keeping the school open outside of regular school hours, to the commitment of being the main caretaker of the donated water purifier. Alma shared with us the following words,

“We are infinitely grateful to the donors, who benefited us with the water purifier... It is a benefit for our children, for their families, for the families of the community and for anyone who needs it, because we now have water to support them”.
