The donation of a water treatment plant, thanks to Clarity Systems' donors, has not only provided a practical solution to these problems, but has also symbolized a change in the perception that it is possible to improve the quality of life in this community. The installation process was a collaborative effort between Clarity, the donors and the school administrators.

The effects will be visible as the children will no longer have to worry about the quality of the water they consume during the school day. It is also expected that waterborne diseases will decrease and thus school absences due to preventable ailments.

In addition, the water treatment plant is intended to serve as a catalyst for the community as a whole, creating a stronger link between the school and the families, thus consolidating a more conducive environment for learning and the integral development of the students. Professor Javier Gutierrez expresses that,

“The benefit we are going to have from this water purification system is that more than 400 students will be able to drink good water and we will also prevent the children from drinking soft drinks... Thank you very much to all of you for the support you are giving us”

Looking to the future, the water treatment plant not only represents a material improvement in the community's living conditions, but also symbolizes collaboration to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. This school has demonstrated that with the right support, everyday reality can be transformed into a healthier and more prosperous one.
