Florentino Damián Nava School. Drops Of Change Flowing And Transforming

The population will have access to a source of quality, good-tasting water. Previously, they had water troughs inside the school, which were damaged and unusable because the person who made the donation never showed up for maintenance. Therefore, Water Saves Lives, with the support of its donors, reaffirms its commitment to provide timely follow-up to ensure that the water purification equipment is always working properly.

This donation is relevant because most of the inhabitants face problems of drinking water shortage, since after Hurricane Otis the water was contaminated and the consumption of this water causes various stomach diseases. Laura Chávez, member of the Parents' Committee, tells us that there are children who cannot afford to buy a bottle of water to quench their thirst, and expresses her most sincere gratitude in the following words,

“They are putting a filter to help us, and it will benefit us a lot, especially now that it is very hot. This is for the children, because we have no water after the hurricane, we have no water to drink”.

These actions show us once again how valuable can be the support directed to those people who suffer losses due to a natural disaster and that acts of kindness and solidarity can positively influence the quality of life of many people.

We would like to offer our most sincere thanks to all the people who have supported us through their donations, because thanks to them it was possible to make this installation, without their social awareness and without their valuable contribution we would not have been able to change history in this school.
