Ceprodites. Shared Knowledge To Build A Better World

This campus is located in the middle of the mountains of Ocotillo, Guerrero. It always seeks to support the inhabitants of the surrounding communities, not only through education but also by accompanying them in various processes of daily life, always with a human approach.

This was the place chosen to make the donation of a water purification machine, since inhabitants of neighboring communities constantly come to CEPRODITES to learn about sustainability. Day by day, local and regional campesino networks are formed to multiply and share their knowledge.

Water Saves Lives shares some of CEPRODITES' social focuses, such as environmental care and sustainability. For this reason, the campus was one of the most suitable places to install a water purification plant. It should be remembered that after the hurricane there was great devastation that left entire communities without material goods, crops and/or water, which made the site a place of support and coexistence for the victims.

Carlos García, director of the Universidad Campesina del Sur, states that.

"In addition to meeting the needs of human consumption of water during the events held at the site, this service will also be offered free of charge to visitors and neighboring towns that require it".

It is clear that this space has always been an asset for the community and now it will also be able to support the villagers with drinking water.
