Otis left many communities without access to potable water for days, causing an emergency situation in the region. The arrival of the water purification equipment at the high school is a relief to the students, school staff and families who depend on the institution as a resource and support center in times of need.

Undoubtedly this is a testament to the spirit of solidarity and support that prevails in difficult times, as the community comes together to face the post-hurricane challenges, the donation represents a major step towards recovery and rebuilding.

We must emphasize the importance of providing access to clean water in emergency situations such as Otis to avoid health problems, it is a basic right to which everyone should have access. In this regard, the high school principal, Vertoldo Villegas, expressed his gratitude for this important contribution.

"I am happy because they are going to give us a great support for the water purification, for the children, for the staff, for the neighboring citizens, parents; thank you very much for this donation, now they can drink water that is not contaminated".

The Water Saves Lives team is left with one of the best feelings, which is to be able to support those who need it most.
