Mexican Association Of Aid To Children With Cancer Of Guerrero (Amanc). Renewed Waters: The Root Of Health

After the passage of Otis in Acapulco, AMANC was affected by the lack of drinking water. The situation was critical, as drinking water is essential for the health of the young patients and their families. In response to this emergency, Water Saves Lives, through the support of its donors, installed a water purifier at the center. The water purification equipment arrived at just the right time to support the water supply problem.

In addition to providing drinking water for the children, families and staff, the water purification equipment is also used for cooking, as there are children who stay at AMANC 24 hours a day and consume their meals 3 times a day.

The donation was received with joy and gratitude by all, as having guaranteed clean water gives them peace of mind and security in the midst of the chaos involved in the difficult cancer process, adding to this what Otis brought with him. Alexis Peña, general director of AMANC Guerrero said.
