Parish Of Our Lady Of San Juan De Los Lagos. The Generosity That Flows
Lady of San Juan de los Lagos Church has always been at the service of the community and has demonstrated its commitment to the welfare of all its neighbors. For many years, this parish has been a meeting point for the faithful and a refuge for those in need of help.
One of the ways the parish has demonstrated its commitment is through donations. Consistently, starting with Otis, the community has come together to collect food and other necessary items for those in vulnerable situations. These donations are distributed to the neediest families, ensuring that everyone has access to the basics of life.
Thanks to the support of the Benavides Family, the parish has also benefited from the donation of a water purification machine. This has been of great help to the community, especially during times of crisis, such as the hurricane. Thanks to this water purifier, the parish has been able to provide drinking water at no cost to all the inhabitants, guaranteeing their health and well-being.
"It is a blessing, a gift because this neighborhood has suffered for years from the lack of water... The parish is a strategic point for the neighborhood and it is accessible for everyone to come and fill their jugs…"
As could be seen firsthand, the parish became a center of refuge for those who had to evacuate their homes, the doors of the church were opened to receive all those affected, providing them with a safe place to receive help. Parish staff and volunteers came together to offer their support and assistance, once again demonstrating their commitment to the community.

Special thanks to the Benavides Family who made the donation in this parish possible.
