Cristo De La Misericordia Sanatorium. The Transforming Power Of Solidarity

The sanatorium has received a water treatment plant that will guarantee a safe and quality supply for all residents, as well as for its collaborators, not forgetting the people of the surrounding communities.

While access to drinking water is a fundamental right for the well-being and health of all people, it is even more vital in the case of the people who live in this center, as they spend most of their day here. This implies that clean water is required both for drinking and for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. In this regard, Glendia Gómez, the director of the center shares with us

"We have a statistic in which we see that sadly there are constant stomach ailments and we had wanted for a long time to prevent it, but our economic situation is very precarious and it had become impossible for us” ‘We are very grateful because it will undoubtedly improve the quality of life”.
