Victory Outreach Christian Church Acapulco. Resilience And Care Transformed Lives

The Alcance Victoria church is located in a locality very close to the beaches of downtown Acapulco, recently hit by the powerful hurricane. Faced with the lack of access to drinking water, due to the rupture of pipes and the collapse of infrastructure, this Christian community supported the church by using their compound as a drinking water distribution center.

From the very beginning, the church members organized themselves through support networks and donations, and it was through these networks that they were able to install a water purification system in this compound. So in addition to providing drinking water to the community, the church also established a team of volunteers who collected and delivered medicines to those who needed them most. Misael Vinalay, director of the compound was very grateful and gave us the following words.

"We want to tell you that although we were affected in Acapulco, this donation that is being made so that we can drink water will be a blessing for the whole community. We want to thank you very much for the great support you are showing”.
