Jardín Palmas Iii Health Center. Healing And Rebuilding Together
High above Acapulco is a community that has often been ignored. Difficulties of access and geographic conditions have meant that basic services are sometimes limited, however, in recent years the Jardín Palmas health center has stepped in to provide support to this community.
The center is now home to a water purification system that, thanks to the support of Cristina Blanco, health coordinator in Guerrero es Primero, and Adriana de la Peza, special project coordinator for the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, was able to reach this place.
In addition to medical care, the health center has also collaborated with other organizations to carry out awareness campaigns on the importance of hygiene and health care in the community. Training has been provided on hygiene techniques and disease prevention.
The center has not only provided medical services, but has also been a catalyst for community development and growth. Its work and commitment to the community has become a reference for other isolated communities without access to adequate medical services. This model has demonstrated that it is possible to provide quality care and accompaniment even in the most remote areas. Luis Carmona, community manager, comments.
"This donation is for the benefit of the community, because we lack water, we are looking for where to get water so we can drink i”.

As the community continues to thrive, the health center will continue to support and work closely with them, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
We express our sincere thanks to Alumbra Innovations Foundation for making this donation possible.
