Benito Juárez Community Center. Drinking water for the community in partnership with ProMazahua
A new community in the state of Mexico has benefited from a powerful water purifier that will allow residents to have high-quality, contaminant-free water in their community centre.
Our commitment goes on.
At Water Saves Lives, we want more children to grow up healthy and more families to have access to quality services, which is why we support the community of Colonia Benito Juárez Santa Cruz del Tejocote, where almost half of the residents are children.
This time, Clarity's team installed a purifying equipment in the Community Center where children come every day to use the facilities as a cyber center.
Due to its location and dispersed population, the inhabitants do not have access to 100% purified water; they drink tap water, boil it or put chlorine tablets in it. A person in charge pumps the water daily and distributes it to the different areas of the community; thus, each family receives water 2 to 3 times a week and conserves it for the days when it does not arrive.
With this contribution, made by Clarity and Water Saves Lives on behalf of all its customers, we will help more families, and especially more children, to have healthy families, and especially more children, to be healthy by consuming water that is free of microorganisms.
We have new allies.
The Water Saves Lives team reached out to the community and the community center thanks to the Promazahua Foundation. This association, along with its representatives, helps coordinate people in different communities in the state of Mexico to support them through self-sustainable projects.
Let's bring more help.
At Clarity, as with Water Saves Lives, we are grateful to our customers for their contribution to help us continue on this path of social support.
If you are interested, would like to partner with us, or know of a community we can help, please visit our Water Saves Lives page to find out how you can join us.
We will continue with new projects and new stories.
